Dealing with the quarantine of my second round of Covid has provided some free time to finish the new aluminum oil tank for the Racing For Orphans Drag bike. I started this a month ago just because It will save weight. It is an exact replica of the steel oil tank I originally made.
Big shout out again to Dave Scaggs of D&G chassis for welding all the pieces together. The new polishing shed my son and I built came in handy so I could do polishing even when it rains. In the end the new tank saves almost 2lbs.

For the negative Nancie’s who think shiny is a waste, maybe we can blind the guy in the other lane to steal a round win. In reality shiny does get people into the Racing For Orphans event booth so we can talk about the orphaned, fostered and at-risk children living at the Florida Sheriffs Youth ranches, and THAT is what really counts!
Come and see us at Wednesday at Quaker Steak and Lube!
